CODING
Coding is telling the computer what to do and how to do it. It makes up the base for all computer programs and is even used to tell robots what to do. We teach programming in an active and visual way, so our students can see what their program does as they make it. Learning programming teaches kids better problem-solving skills and improves their critical thinking as they find the quickest way to reach their goal.
ROBOTICS
Robotics is designing and building robots for all kinds of different tasks. We use robots to do tasks that are dangerous for people to do and to make our lives simpler. We teach robotics with a very hands-on approach that allows our students to really feel like they have designed the right robot for the given task. Small competitions are held periodically for our robotic students.
COMPUTERS
Computers are general purpose devices that can be programmed to carry out a set of instructions automatically. Typically, a computer consists of at least one processor and some memory. The processor is responsible for doing the work and the memory is used to store the final results. We teach and even help our students understand the different parts of computers and how they function. We will also help your child plan their own computer build and help them decide which parts they need.
SOFTWARE
Software, formally known as Computer Software, is that part of a computer system that consists of encoded information or computer instructions, in contrast to the physical hardware from which the system is built. The term is roughly synonymous with computer program. Computer software includes computer programs, libraries and related non-executable data, such as online documentation or digital media. We teach many popular and highly used pieces of software that can be used either for personal projects or future careers.
