ROBOTICS
Robotics is designing and building robots for all kinds of different tasks. We use robots to do tasks that are dangerous for people to do and to make our lives simpler. We teach robotics with a very hands-on approach that allows our students to really feel like they have designed the right robot for the given task. Small competitions are held periodically for our robotic students.
WHAT IS ROBOTICS?
Robotics is the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots.
Robotics is about system integration, achieving a task by an actuated mechanical device, via an “intelligent” integration of components, many of which it shares with other domains, such as systems and control, computer science, character animation, machine design, computer vision, artificial intelligence, cognitive science, and biomechanics. In addition, the boundaries of robotics cannot be clearly defined, since also its “core” ideas, concepts and algorithms are being applied in an ever increasing number of “external” applications, and, vice versa, core technology from other domains (vision, biology, cognitive science or biomechanics, for example) are becoming crucial components in more and more modern robotic systems.

LEVELS
These are the levels of robotics we teach and the course path our students follow
VEX IQ
VEX IQ is a robotics platform designed to transform STEM learning for young students. Students can jump right in and snap robots together using this intuitive, toolless system. The VEX IQ platform provides a fun and engaging vehicle to begin the journey toward becoming the type of problem solver our world needs the most. No matter what you see in your future, the VEX IQ platform and curriculum can help you build the kinds of skills expected of a 21st century innovator.
VEX EDR
VEX EDR is real world robotics that still has a child friendly environment. VEX EDR robots are driven by innovative technology adapted by experts specifically for education. We understand that beginners need a low barrier to entry, while experienced users want room to grow. VEX is a category of robotics that middle school students, high school students, and even college students can compete with in World Wide events. VEX parts are made from various materials such as micro controllers, gears, aluminum structural parts, and electric motors. Our students will learn how to make robots that will function with user control, and autonomous mode to move on its own. Your child will compete with their completed robot in our facilities as well.
Arduino Robotics
Arduino Robotics is real world robotics. Arduinos and the parts associated are what engineers in the real world use to make appliances and machinery. This is college and professional level robotics. Our students will learn how to make robots that will function with user control, and autonomous mode to move on its own. Your child will compete with their completed robot in our facilities as well.
